HHRMA - The Menzies Sydney

HHRMA - The Menzies Sydney is seeking a qualified Sous Chef to join our professional and efficient Kitchen Brigade of 15. You will work in a team environment ensuring timely service and a high standard of presentation of our hotel product, prepare and store food in accordance with the hygiene legislation. You will work in all areas including breakfast, dinner and conferencing where you will undertake duties such as food preparation, plate presentation, recipe & menu creation and maintenance & cleanliness of kitchen equipment. In addition, you will work with the Executive Chef to supervise all operational aspects of the Kitchen and related outlets.

You will be a qualified chef with previous experience in a hotel environment and you are currently in a Sous Chef position. What sets you apart is your ability to lead, build and motivate a strong Kitchen team. Additionally, the successful candidate must have experience in buffet and A la Carte modern Australian cuisine. You can handle high pressure situations and your ability to organise and time manage is what sets you apart from the rest. You are available to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends as per our business demands, which is derived from your passion for the industry and creation of food. The successful candidate will have unlimited work rights in Australia and be flexible to work 38 hours per week. Requirement :
- Needs to have experience in buffet and A la Carte modern
